Deleting a Transaction


**Only unposted transactions can be deleted.**


Step 1: From the Vendors drop down menu, select BROWSE ALL UNPOSTED.




Step 2: Right-click on the transaction and select VOID/DELETE TRANSACTION from the menu.







Step 3: Click DELETE TRANSACTION.







Voiding a Transaction 



**Once a transaction has been posted, you can only void the transaction, you cannot delete it.**


Voiding a Check: If just the check is voided, the invoice will appear back in the Pay Bills window.


Voiding an Invoice: If the invoice is being paid with a check, voiding this invoice will void both the invoice AND the check.


To Void a Check:


Step 1: Click the Search GL icon from the home page.





Step 2: Right-click on the check then select VOID/DELETE TRANSACTION.







Step 3: Click VOID TRANSACTION.  






The check will be voided and an offsetting entry will be created in the current period and date.  All voids will appear in RED on the GL.  Your bill will be displayed and available for payment in the Pay Bills screen.




To Void a Bill:


Step 1: Click the Search GL icon from the home page.




Step 2: Right-click on the bill and select VOID/DELETE TRANSACTION.  





Step 3: Click VOID TRANSACTION.  






An offsetting entry will be created in the current period and date.  All voids will appear in RED on the GL.





Voiding/Reissuing a Transaction


Voiding/Reissuing an Invoice: If the invoice has been paid, the check will be voided and a new unposted version of the invoice will be created.  Both the invoice number and check number can be reused.


Voiding/Reissuing a Check: Will both void the check and create a new unposted version of the invoice.  Both the invoice number and check number can be reused.



Void/Reissue an Invoice:


Step 1: Click the Search GL icon from the home page.


Step 2: Right-click on the invoice and select VOID/DELETE TRANSACTION from the menu.




Step 3: Click VOID & REISSUE TRANSACTION.





Step 4: Click YES on the Void Confirmation Required window.




Step 5:  Click OK on the Void/Reissue Result window.




The invoice has now been reissued as unposted transaction and the check has been voided.







Void/Reissue a Check:


Step 1: Click the Search GL icon from the home page.




Step 2: Right-click on the check and click VOID/DELETE TRANSACTION.





Step 3: Click VOID & REISSUE TRANSACTION.







Step 4: Click YES in the Void Confirmation Required window.




Step 5: Click OK in the Void/Reissue Result window.




The check has now been voided and the invoice has been reissued as an unposted transaction.





Cloning Transactions


Cloning a transaction will duplicate everything from the original transaction except effective date, date and invoice #.


Step 1: Click the Search GL icon on the home page.




Step 2: Right-click on the transaction you would like to duplicate and click CLONE TRANSACTION from the menu.




The Adding Bill entry window will open with information already populated.  Complete the required fields, make any necessary changes and click SAVE.
