Editing Unposted Transactions:
Step 1: Click on the Post icon on the home page.
Step 2: Double-click on the transaction and click EDIT. Make any necessary changes and save.
Editing Posted Transactions in the Current Period:
Step 1: Click on the Search GL icon on the home page.
Step 2: Double-click on the transaction and click EDIT. Neither the total amount of the transaction nor the vendor can be changed once it is posted; however, the acct #, amount, and description in the detail expense lines can be edited and additional lines can be added to split lines. To add a new line, click ADD LINE. Make any necessary changes and click SAVE.
Note: If the total amount of the posted transaction needs to be changed, the transaction must be voided/reissued. This will create a new unposted transaction to edit.
Editing Posted Transactions in a Closed Period (Making a Distribution Change):
Step 1: Click on the Search GL icon on the home page. Enter the period number for the transaction you would like to edit and click ENTER.
Step 2: Double-click on the transaction you would like to edit. Right-click on the transaction and click ADD DC.
Step 3: Enter the new acct # and amount you would like to move to it then click SAVE. **You can edit, void, or void/reissue posted current period DC changes**
Note: You can also edit transactions using Search GL by clicking EDIT TRANSACTION DETAILS.
