Digital Timecard PDFs v2.0

GreenSlate has released a new, completely dynamic version of our digital timecard PDFs.  Improvements that have been implemented include:

  • Division added to header (displays only if the project has divisions enabled)
  • Codes (Tax Credit, Episode/Location, Free Field) and Notes added to PDF
  • Order of Sections standardized: Hours, Grossing, Totals, Other Earnings, Deductions, Notes, Signatures
  • Columns show ONLY on PDF when values are present (i.e., the ‘Loc’ column only appears when location codes are used AND are populated on the corresponding digital timecard) NOTE: This applies to rows within ‘Totals’, ‘Other Earnings’, and ‘Deductions’ as well.
  • Sections only show if used (i.e. the ‘Deductions’ section will ONLY appear if there are Deductions values to populate) NOTE: Only exception is Days & Date on the grid - we’ll always show rows for all days in the week (Sunday-Saturday)
  • Signature max area matches the max area available to the user when they create their signature
  • There were scenarios where the totals on old PDF did not match the data on the timecard page. We’ve corrected this so that the new PDF always matches the timecard.
  • “Loan Out Corp,” and “Fed ID” fields only show up if the employee is a 1099
  • PDF is generated on-demand for the Hours approval flow and then “snapshotted” and save the PDF to the Hours approval flow when it is completed. In this case, there would be no grossing - as it’s pulling from the Hours data.
  • PDF will be generated on-demand for the Grossing approval flow and then “snapshotted” and save the PDF to the Grossing approval flow when it is completed. In this case, there would be grossing and hours -- both pulling from the Grossing data.
  • Hours PDF has “Submitted” indicated in the header. Grossing PDF has “Final” indicated in the header.
  • Days of the week will be pulled from system according to Producer’s Work Week that is chosen by the client so it’s not always Sun - Sat
